The Problem

The recirculation of exhaust gases (EGR) and crankcase vapors (PCV) cause the build-up of power-robbing deposits in the throttle body and air intake system. These deposits impede airflow and restrict proper operation of the throttle plate, causing poor idling, hesitation and other drivability problems.

Directions

Run engine until it reaches normal operating temperature. Remove the air cleaner duct. Carefully spray solution intermittently into the throttle body, activating the plate while spraying so the fuel system is not flooded. Dispose of any used or unused solution and container in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
